The Hanna Project led a medical and construction team to Ivory Coast, West Africa, from February 7-21, 2009. The project involved surgery, patient care, and vision care. Vision care provided the population with prescription glasses. Medical care was also be taken to the outlying villages.

Nearly six years of civil war has taken its toll on schools in the northeast part of the country where they have sat empty and unused. The Hanna Project focused on the schools most in need of repairs, leading the way in providing an atmosphere conducive to learning. New school desks were also be provided.
